A Man Who Made Music History
His name was Stevland Hardway Judkins & was born in May 13, 1950. At age 11 he made his first signing with Motown's Tamla label with his song "Lonely Boy". He has been blind almost since birth because of ROP. Some of his most popular hits were "Superstition", "Sir Duke", "You are the love of my life", & "I Just Called You Say I Love You". He was born in Saginaw, Michigan & 3rd kid of Calvin Jukins & Lula Mae Hardway. Before he signed his label producer Clarence Paul gave Stevie the name "Little Stevie Wonder". Almost broke into the Billboard 100, spending a week during August at 101. After that Stevie came out with a new single called "Little Water Boy". He recorded the sound track for "Jungle Fever" in 1991. Married twice to Syreeta Wright from 1970 to 1972, then he later married the fashion designer Kai Millard in 2001 but they separated in 2009 & later divorced in 2012. He also has 9 children from five different women. In may of 2006 his mother died at age 76. Later during his UK concert in September 8, 2008 he said he would begin touring again after his loss. This man recorded more than 30 of the U.S. top ten hits & won 25 Grammy's. He had ten U.S. 1# hits & 20 R&B 1# hits & sold over 100 million record & 19.5 albums & he was one one of the top 60 best-selling music artists with combined sales.
